Shortlisted for “Best New Festival” and “Best Metropolitan Festival” at the UK Festival awards, Gathering returns this autumn following on from last year’s hugely successful inaugural event. Taking place on Saturday 19th October, the festival stretches the length and breadth of Oxford’s Cowley Rd, encompassing all of OX4’s best established and under the radar venues. One wristband giving you access to over 40 bands in 12 hours.
For the uninitiated, Gathering brings you an eclectic programme of up and coming acts alongside more established artists. 2012’s line-up featured Dry The River, Bastille, Peace, The Staves, Lucy Rose and Spector. With last year’s event selling out in advance, Gathering 2013 increases its capacity with the addition of St John The Evangelist Church.
